51 Franchises You Can Start Under $100,000
Updated: 3 days ago
Franchises remove the headache of building a business from scratch. They come with an established brand, a working business model, and a track record you can research before you buy in.
But franchising still comes down to money. Two numbers in every Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) matter most up front: the franchise fee, which is what you pay to join the system, and the estimated initial investment, a range that covers the fee plus everything it takes to open, such as equipment, inventory, training, and working capital. The low end of that range is the smallest version of the business. The high end is what it can cost with a bigger territory, a larger location, or more equipment.
Below we've listed 51 franchises under $100,000: the estimated initial investment for each one starts below that mark. Many of these ranges climb well above $100,000, so read the full range for each entry and compare the same model and territory size when you research further. Some brands also require a certain amount of liquid capital, meaning cash on hand, so ask each franchisor about that too.
